Some pictures of a vester strat body (and pickguard) that has been treated with adhesive copper foil. The foil is quite easy to handle,  you can even solder ground wires to the foil. This improves shielding and reduces noise/hum. Don’t expect it to be completely silent. If there is no noise, it is broken. 🙂
